Youth-led platform receives commendation in personal meeting with senior public representative
Ahmedabad | May 2025
In a powerful gesture affirming the importance of youth-driven civic platforms, Smt. Bhanuben Babariya, Member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, personally met with Pranjal Koisa, Co-Founder of The Vedanta Forum – Law. Legacy. Leadership. The meeting, held in Rajkot, marked a significant milestone in the Forum’s journey and underscored the shared commitment to fostering meaningful, constitutionally grounded engagement among the youth of Gujarat.
During the interaction, Smt. Babariya was briefed on the structure and objectives of The Vedanta Forum — a state-level Youth Parliament initiative designed to simulate Indian lawmaking, strategic policymaking, and media ethics. She appreciated the Forum’s focus on Indian institutions and civic thought, and extended her formal written recognitionthrough a letter of appreciation issued directly to the Forum’s founders.
“This platform represents the democratic spirit of India. I am proud to see such initiatives rising from our youth. It is not just a debate — it is a disciplined effort to preserve and strengthen the legacy of Bharat,” she noted.
The Vedanta Forum redefines youth engagement by placing Indian legislative institutions — rather than global simulations — at its core. It involves participants from Grade 9 onwards and across disciplines such as law, political science, and journalism. Simulated bodies include the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, National Security Council, AIPPM, and the National Press Bureau, offering delegates a real-time view of policy debate, constitutional dilemmas, and federal dynamics.
Reflecting on the meeting, Pranjal Koisa, who represented the Forum during the interaction, shared:
“Being personally received by Smt. Babariya was both humbling and inspiring. Her words and her belief in youth-led platforms validated what we are trying to build. The Vedanta Forum is about responsible leadership — and meeting a public leader who embodies that was an unforgettable honour.”
The appreciation from a sitting MLA adds both symbolic and structural strength to the Forum’s growing recognition among schools, universities, and civic networks across Gujarat. It also reaffirms the belief that the voices of the youth — when organized with clarity and responsibility — have a rightful place in India’s constitutional landscape.
With its next edition scheduled for 12th and 13th July 2025, The Vedanta Forum continues its journey to inspire, equip, and elevate India’s next generation of leaders — where law meets legacy, and dialogue drives change.
